INVITATION TO JOIN: TranSolidarity Community Dialogue 02/12/12 – LINK FIXED!

This is an open invitation to trans community folks in Los Angeles:

Subject: TranSolidarity Community Dialogue

Dear Friends,

Over the course of the last six months, I’ve spoken with you about my ideas around building stronger communities of trans and gender queer folks, as well as family members, loved ones, and allies.  Through continued conversations, it has become clear that not all of our communities in Los Angeles know each other or are even visible to one another.  Before we can know how we can work together, we need to know who we are.

I would like to invite you to join in an afternoon of community dialogue to get better acquainted with each other.  Our hope is to begin to understand how we can support each other, with an eye toward building solidarity and creating social change.  The afternoon will be facilitated by the wonderful folks at The Relational Center.  You can learn more about who they are and the work that they do atwww.therelationalcenter.org.

Parking will be free and refreshments will be provided!

Please RSVP by going to TranSolidarity Community Dialogue and clicking “Join.”  the link has been fixed.

I sincerely hope to see you there.  I believe that there is no limit to what we can create when we stand together.

Happy Holidays!

Your friend,

Marie Keller
